CE MARKING

How can we help you?

How can we help you?
Every time a company (producer or user)

1) Substantially modifies an existing work equipment/machine, or
2) Create a new piece of equipment/machine/assembly of machines, assembling several supplies, or
3) Designs and builds a new machine/equipment, but has no intention/possibility of branding it in its own name

is essential, both to guarantee the operation of a machine/assembly of machines that complies with the safety requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and/or any other applicable product directives, and to adhere to the “Industry 4.0” plan (where possible), proceed with the conformity assessment and subsequent CE conformity marking.

We then create the technical file with the customer (through the evaluation of the applicable harmonized standards, the risk assessment according to the RZ Solution methodology developed in accordance with EN ISO 12100:2010, the indication of any necessary adjustments, the drafting of the user manual and maintenance etc.) to reach the CE conformity marking, finally assuming the role of manufacturer (with related responsibilities).

The conformity assessment process according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC is integrated with the general support for all Directives in the industrial product field for which the self-declaration regime applies (such as the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU , the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU, the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU (where applicable), the PED Directive 2014/68/EU (where applicable), etc.).

Where there is no self-declaration regime, we complete the process by making use of specific Notified Bodies, which can be proposed by us, or chosen by the customer, whilst maintaining the role of manufacturer.

Why choose us?

Is the CE marking just a bureaucratic requirement?

The many accidents that unfortunately still occur in the industrial sector should make us reflect on the fact that what is required by the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and by the product directives in general is certainly a bureaucratic requirement, but which cannot and must not be taken lightly, because the result can be extremely harmful for a company (from various points of view, be it user or manufacturer).

Our technical and legal experience is put at your service to ensure that the final CE marking of the machine/work equipment is not a simple “bureaucratic fulfillment” but a process that increases its value, through the possibility of obtaining a product in all respects safe for the operators who will use it.

The best solution when creating production lines

You have probably always been told that the CE marking is the only solution, but this is not always the case: the Machinery Directive 20006/42/EC is clear in defining the requirements that configure an “assembly of machines” for which it is necessary to proceed with the marking. Therefore, it is not in our interest to provide you with the CE marking service at any cost, but rather to guide you in the best choice for you, based on the real elements of the situation analyzed.
